29th December 2004: Sutton Park
These images were taken with Rig2, Canon A310 digital camera and Dopero Kite
I like these shots as they represent progress in my KAP over the year. I'm just visible in the first view, as a re geese at the waters edge. In my earlier KAP attempts, views like this were just blurs. One of the joys of KAP for me is the conversations held. I have lots of views of by-standers. This couple from Scotland were fascinated and a joy to speak to. The third image looks across to where we live, just to the right of the kite line in front of the warehouse structure in the distance. Its is of local interest to us! On the skyline, Birmingham city centre buildings are visible as silhouettes, e.g the BT tower and the Rotunda..

Views towards Banners Gate and Longmoor Pool. Note the furrows in the ground highlighted by the winter sun. Barr Beacon is in the distance on the right, with Clent Hills just visible on the left. Clent cannot be seen from the ground.
