August 2005 Middleton and Wishaw

I was having trouble with the exposure of these photos, so I've only put a few up. The area is great fro KAP though, so hopefully I will return some time!

New Hall Valley, Sutton Coldfield - September 2005

New Hall Valley Country Park was offcially opened on 29th August 2005. It is the newest Country Park in Birmingham, occupying the valley along which which the locally famous Plantsbrook (or Ebrook) flows. The land was originally farmland and water meadows around the New Hall and the New Hall mill. As more of this land was sold for residential development, the Country Park was created to protect the Valley itself. Well done city planners and councillors!
